Trying this blogging thing out

Leaving for Bologna in 13 days, but currently I'm still inhabiting the crown jewel of God's creation,  Downingtown, PA. I'm making this blog for the few family and friends who may care enough to follow my travels this spring in Italia and hopefully all over Europe, and I will try to update the site on a pretty regular basis just to appease Tam. I'd like to think I'm pretty adventurous, and I've been taking Italian at Dickinson since freshman year so I figured I might as well make all the hours I've spent in class "learning" vocab and conjugations actually worth something. I'm not Italian by blood, I'm barely able to communicate in the language, and I've done a terrifyingly small amount of research into my home for the next six months. I'll be missing the Dtown jagaloons and the fine, upstanding young men of Dickinson College for sure. I'll survive though, and hopefully with some pretty good stories to tell. With Twineman guiding my path, here goes nothin....
